Trails. Here are the open number of trails and associated acreage for two of the very few mountains open inside the continental United States, guess which one is in CO and which one is in NE:

4 of 93 Trails
93 of 1570 Acres

10 of 140 Trails
24 of 752 Acres

I know you are probably stumped, so I’ll fill you in. Top is Loveland, CO and bottom is Killington, VT. Love how they break trails up at mountains out east here so one single top to bottom run can be like 5 or 6 different trails (or even more.) Thought this was the perfect indicator: when I saw Killington had 10 trails open I got excited until realizing that probably meant one or two. 4 trails = 93 acres of skiing (plus who knows what backcountry) at Loveland.. 10 trails = 24 acres (plus probably no backcountry) at Killington.

Ended up with 38 or so people staying at the place, and the conditions were some of the best I’ve had out East. I’ll try to throw up some pictures soon. In the meantime anyone else that wants to invite me to their house feel free, thanks!
